With today’s reality of reduced reimbursement for healthcare services, combined with increases in charity care provided, and the rising cost of providing the latest in healthcare advances, we value and seek the community’s philanthropic resources to realize our vision.

A gift to Mercy Health Partners enables us to improve and expand patient care services, to purchase medical equipment upgrades, and to provide educational activities and programs for our growing community. We all want the best healthcare for our neighbors, our friends, and our families. Ways to Give. . .

When you make a gift to Mercy General, one hundred percent of your gift goes directly to support Mercy Health Partners. Donors have the opportunity to designate their gift to the program or facility of their choice or contribute to Mercy General’s greatest area of need.

The Mercy General Community Development Council raises money by:

• Securing gifts from individuals, businesses, and foundations through direct mail, personal visits, grant writing and other means
• Hosting special events such as The Ride event, the Benefit Ball, the Home & Hearth Luncheon, Golfin’ Fore Girls, and the Naleah Drew Memorial Golf Outing
• Educating people about tax-wise giving to encourage gifts to stock, property, insurance, wills and bequests
• Conducting major fundraising campaigns, such as the current “Johnson Family Center for Cancer Care” project.

Gifts can be made in a variety of ways, including gifts of cash and gifts of appreciated assets such as real estate or stocks. Through planned giving, friends of Mercy Health Partners can reap the benefits of tax advantages today by making arrangements for a future gift to Mercy General.
