16-Slice Computerized Tomography (CT) Scanner

This x-ray machine produces two and three-dimensional images of all the internal organs in the body. The images are extremely accurate and beneficial for the early detection of disease and trauma.

This scanner is also fast. The high-speed scanning and accurate results mean patients endure shorter exam times and ultimately receive less x-ray exposure.

The 16-Slice CT Scanner allows physicians to find blockages in the carotid and coronary arteries; uncover aneurysms in the brain, abdomen and extremities; and provide the same information as an angiogram. Physicians will also be able to more specifically evaluate the size of a patient’s tumor and it relationship to other structures.
