Muskegon, MI -December 4, 2008 -- Dick Kamps, MD, with Muskegon Surgical Associates, PC has been named Medical Director for Mercy Health Partners VNS & Hospice. As Medical Director, he will work with the Hospice team to provide end-of-life care and serve as a resource to the medical community for palliative care and hospice issues.

Dr. Kamps is a graduate from the University of Michigan Medical School and has served as a surgeon in the community since 1985. He is board certified in Hospice and Palliative Care. In addition to his continued full-time work with Muskegon Surgical, he will also continue in his role as relief Medical Director of Harbor Hospice.
