Westshore Health Network

Membership Information

Why should I join Westshore Health Network?

In preparation for the continued growth of managed care, commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare, the need to collaborate and collectively share in the risks and rewards of contracts becomes paramount. Additional benefits include greater physician involvement in policy making and local control of our destiny through Board and Committee participation development of clinical initiatives. Further, as Westshore Health Network increases the number of covered lives, access to our referral base and the ability to share risk will become increasingly attractive. Westshore Health Network differs from HMO's in that it allows and encourages local area physicians to define medical management policies and procedures as well as financial policy.
