Diabetes Self-Management Training Program

Has your doctor just told you that you have diabetes? Or, have you had diabetes for a number of years?

Do you find yourself feeling:

    Confused?
    Scared?
    Frustrated?
    Angry?
    Depressed?
    Discouraged?
    Overwhelmed?
    In denial?

Diabetes can be complex and confusing. We can help.

Our Diabetes Educators can take you step-by-step through the care you need. You will be able to meet individually with a Registered Nurse or a Registered Dietitian. Small group classes are offered at various times of the day for your convenience. Our Diabetes Education program is designed to teach you more about living with and managing your diabetes.

Here's what our past participants had to say:

"I learned things that were new to me even though I've had diabetes for years."

"There was so much I didn't know. The motivation and humor in the classes were invaluable."

"I didn't realize losing weight would be so easy. Everyone wants to know my secret."

"I didn't want to go to class. I knew it would be boring, hard to sit through and a waste of time. I was so mistaken. I had fun. The time went fast and I learned so much. I thought I knew it all. Thanks!"

If you would like to schedule an appointment, please talk with your doctor about attending the Diabetes Program. A doctor referral is required by most insurance companies.
