Prenatal and High-risk Prenatal Care

Good prenatal care is an important part of a healthy pregnancy.  At Ob Gyn Associates, you will have options regarding your prenatal care that reflect and support your wishes concerning your pregnancy and birth experience.  If you are planning a pregnancy, we will provide a complete exam and screen for illnesses or conditions that could affect your pregnancy.  Ideally, prenatal care begins before you are pregnant.  If you’ve been experiencing any unusual symptoms, this is a good time to report them.

You should call and schedule your first prenatal exam during the first six to eight weeks of yor pregnancy, or when your menstrual period is two to four weeks late.  We are the only office to offer first-trimester genetic screening and 3-D ultrasound.
